Bayou Reserve Rum is a premium Louisiana rum crafted from locally grown sugarcane and aged up to four years in wet ex-bourbon barrels using the Solera method. This aging process imparts a smooth, consistent character with bourbon-like notes. The nose offers creamy vanilla with hints of apple and cinnamon, while the palate opens with a dry oak-like character reminiscent of aged bourbon, followed by pronounced cinnamon and maple. The finish is dry with long-lasting notes of dark fruit and wood.
