Old vines (over 60 years old) in the quinta have produced a fine wine from a great douro year. Manual grape harvest from small plots, fermentation with indigenous yeasts in small wineries with footsteps. Ageing 18 months french oak barrels.
Intense and complex wine. Genuine, fruity and full-bodied red wine. The tannins, although softened, are still there giving licorice flavors while supporting powerful black fruits.
