Rhum Bologne Cask Matured is an agricole rum from Guadeloupe, distilled from fresh sugarcane juice using a column still. It undergoes a dual maturation process: 18 to 24 months in French oak casks, followed by 6 months in ex-Cognac barrels. This aging imparts a harmonious blend of flavors, including notes of vanilla, sweet spices, and floral undertones. The palate is round and powerful, offering hints of fresh vanilla and oak, with a finish that is both pleasant and floral. This rum is best enjoyed neat, in a Ti’ Punch, or as a base for refined cocktails.
