Castello Vicchiomaggio FSM 2008 is a prestigious Tuscan red wine, crafted exclusively from Merlot grapes cultivated in the estate’s steep, southeast-facing vineyards in Greve in Chianti. This vintage presents an incredibly dark color with blue-black shades and offers a rich and evolving bouquet of concentrated raspberry syrup and black cherry, layered with notes of cedar, chocolate, herbs, graphite, and underwood. On the palate, it is full-bodied with intense flavors, ripe and delicate tannins, and a refreshing, balsamic finish, making it an excellent companion to flavorful main courses like truffle fillet or orange duck .​
