São Luiz Douro Sublinhado Tinto is a dry red wine from Portugal’s Douro Valley, produced by Kopke at Quinta de São Luiz. This wine is crafted from a blend of indigenous grape varieties: 35% Touriga Nacional, 25% Touriga Franca, 25% Tinta Roriz, and 15% Tinto Cão. The vineyards are situated in the sub-region of Cima Corgo, with schistous soils at elevations between 200 and 350 meters, contributing to the wine’s distinctive character. The wine showcases aromas of red fruit, sweet notes from barrel aging, and hints of resin and spices. On the palate, it offers a medium body, integrated tannins and acidity, and a harmonious finish.
