Riga Black Balsam Original is a traditional Latvian herbal liqueur, first crafted in 1752 by pharmacist Abraham Kunze. This bittersweet elixir is made from 24 natural ingredients, including 17 botanicals such as linden blossom, birch buds, valerian root, ginger, and black pepper, infused using a unique single-barrel process and aged in oak barrels to develop its complex flavor. With an alcohol content of 45%, it offers a rich, earthy taste with notes of berries, honey, and spices, and can be enjoyed neat, over ice, or as a versatile ingredient in cocktails and desserts.
